The right fiber guidance is important! Complex components with many stress points, such as our Y-Mount, are difficult to manufacture using the classic prepreg process. We use the 3D carbon fiber layup process developed by CarbonWorks . This guarantees the optimal alignment of the fibers at the stress points such as the holes and clamping points. This enabled us to reduce the weight of the Y-Mount to 31g while simultaneously increasing its strength.
Polishing instead of painting.
We do not use paint or filler. Our carbon parts have polished visible carbon surfaces without any additional coating. This requires a high level of precision in production. We believe that the visible fibers give the parts elegance and individuality.
